The ferrous balls are put on the slowly moving grate plate of chain grate. Then use the waste heat of annual cooler and hot  air flow discharged by rotary kiln to dry, preheat, oxidize and consolidate the raw balls. Thereafter,  the raw balls are conveyed to the rotary kiln to be roasted, and  the powders on the chain grate will be collected by the ash hopper for reusing. The chain grate is a kind of equipment that operates in high temperature and its main components adopt the heat-resisting alloy steel. Cooling measures are used on the segment of preheating roller, main driving shaft and the supports of the Shovel stripper plate. On the head of  discharging end,  use spading and dust removing devices.
The heat utilization efficiency of chain grate is greatly improved by adopting the fully-enclosed structure. Adjust the speed of feeder with materials layer height and thickness detecting device to achieve quantitive control. The machine is consisted of frame structure, shell body, rotary parts of chain grate , thickness detecting devices, pulling devices, driving devices, smoke chamber, deviation preventing devices, etc. Achieve automatic control of the space between the grate plate and  materials pulling board to  reduce the abrasion down to its minimum.
